Biography
He has participated in numerous contentious cases before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and has been involved in proceedings before United Nations treaty bodies and special procedures.
His practice is distinguished by the integration of constitutional and criminal litigation tools with the analysis of International Law, articulating simultaneous strategies before national and international jurisdictions.
Alongside his professional practice, he conducts academic research in Public International Law, Constitutional Law, Human Rights, and Criminal Law. He has taught International Law at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) and other academic institutions. His academic output includes books, chapters in edited volumes, and articles published in peer-reviewed, internationally indexed legal journals.
